NOTE: I’m not planning for this to be a news site as there are plenty of folks doing great jobs with those. But, I do need a first post and this seemed interesting enough.
If you were planning on going to WWDC I hope you got your ticket early today. The event, which is in San Francisco in June, sold out in record time, taking less than 10 hours. Compare that to last year’s 8 days and it’s obvious anticipation for the event is at an all-time high.
In the past, Apple has used WWDC to showcase a new iPhone but rumors are pointing to a potential change this year with some saying the iPhone 5 won’t be released until late summer or early fall. That puts me (and I’m sure a lot of you) in an interesting position because I’ve been planning for some time to upgrade my phone in June. We don’t know if the rumors are true but it’s starting, at least to me, to feel that way. Now I’m wondering if I should just go ahead and get an iPhone 4. Of course, doing that now would almost guarantee a new iPhone in June.
