Sometimes it’s easier to show rather than write — and some topics don’t fit neatly in a 1000-word box.
I’m toying with the idea of making YouTube videos to go along with the newsletter. Is this something you’d be down with? I’m curious to know what you think so hit the poll and let me know!

AppleCare One | Image: Apple
Apple has launched AppleCare One, a new monthly subscription bundle that simplifies and expands coverage for your Apple gear. If you’re juggling an iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, iPad, and maybe even a Vision Pro—this new plan could save you time and money.
What’s included?
All the standard AppleCare+ perks: unlimited accidental damage repairs, battery replacements, 24/7 Apple support, and express replacement.
Theft & Loss coverage now extends beyond iPhones to iPads and Apple Watches, with up to 3 claims per year.
Covers up to 3 devices for $19.99/month. Additional devices can be added for $5.99/month each.
Why it’s different
You can enroll older devices—up to 4 years old for most things—as long as they’re in good working condition.
Easily manage and swap devices from Settings app on your iPhone, Mac, or iPad.
Supports nearly every Apple product: Macs, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Vision Pro, AirPods, Apple TV, and even HomePods.
Is It Worth It? 🤔 Some Things to Consider
AppleCare One sounds like a win, but it’s not one-size-fits-all. Here are a few quick pros and cons:
âś… Why It Might Be Worth It
You own multiple Apple devices and want simplified billing and peace of mind.
You regularly upgrade devices — swapping them in and out of coverage is seamless.
You’ve needed AppleCare+ in the past and appreciated the quick service or replacements.
⚠️ Why It Might Not Be
Depending on the devices you have, standalone AppleCare+ may be a more cost-effective option.
You rarely damage devices, so the extended warranty may go unused.
The public betas for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, tvOS 26, HomePod software 26, watchOS 26, and AirPods firmware are arriving soon, but have not been released as of the time I am writing this.
If you missed my last email, or are a new subscriber (Welcome! đź‘‹), I shared how to join the beta program, steps to take before installing the betas, how to provide feedback, and what not to do if your favorite apps do not work correctly.
You can read that here, and we also break it down on the latest episode of the podcast (linked below).
If you’re itching to try iPadOS 26, or just curious how far AI has crept into everyday life, this episode is for you.
Jeff and I share how well (or not) AI played doctor, deliver a first look at the iPadOS 26 developer beta, and break down how to beta test like a pro (without nuking your device).
You’ll get honest impressions of the new floating windows, updated UI, Preview on iPad, the surprise “Games” app—and what it all feels like in day-to-day use. Plus: how Jeff tested it, what crashed, and what delighted.
Will I install the beta? What did my doctor say when I quoted ChatGPT? And what’s the one thing you should do before installing any beta? It’s all here in a fast, fun 35 minutes.
